U.S. consumer prices rose at a higher than expected 0.7 percent pace in June, mostly due to soaring gasoline prices and the core measure of inflation remained relatively tame, government data on Wednesday showed.
The British unemployment rate rose to 7.6% in the three months ending in May, rising from 6.7% in the previous three-month period and from 5.2% in the same period last year, the Office for National Statistics reported Wednesday.
